[optional date token] Hello again [your customer's name] In the last fibromyalgia newsletter I listed out some of the topics I was going to cover in my e-mails. In this newsletter I am going to give a simple explanation of what fibromyalgia is: - fibromyalgia is not contagious - it is comprised of a number of symptoms - nine out of ten people diagnosed are women - fibromyalgia used to be considered a psychosomatic problem Only about 5% of the population is at risk of developing fibromyalgia. It is a cocktail of a number of symptoms. Fibromyalgia is a syndrome that affects muscle fibers and is closely related to pain. Most researchers believe that fibromyalgia is thought to be a hereditary disorder. At this time there is no actual cure. However, there are ways to treat the syndrome so that the symptoms completely vanish. For some cases, however, this is not possible. There are varying degrees of this syndrome. Some people may be slightly affected while others are completely debilitated. Fibromyalgia syndrome is not fatal but it can lead to symptoms that can be dangerous. It can cause intense pain and this can lead to difficulty sleeping and restricted movement. In the next newsletter I will cover symptoms of fibromyalgia. Until next time. [your name] http://xxxxxxx.fibromyl01.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTORESPONDER 3 *************** Subject: [optional date token] – What are the symptoms of fibromyalgia? [your customer's name] Dear [your customer's name] I hope this email finds you and your loved ones well. There are many symptoms associated with fibromyalgia. After all, it is a syndrome, which is defined as a grouping of symptoms. The symptoms of fibromyalgia include: - chronic pain - aching joints - headaches and migraines - nerve pain - skin sensitivity - sleeping disorders One of the latest discussions involving fibromyalgia involves classifying it as a sleep disorder. The theory states that not being able to reach a deep state of sleep in some way does not allow the nervous system to function properly. This in turn, sends signals that there should be pain in certain areas that have not suffered any trauma. However, the cause is not fully understood. What is understood is that there are symptoms and people who have fibromyalgia suffer greatly. Chronic pain, and sleeping difficulties, is the hallmark sign of fibromyalgia. Nearly all cases will have some element of pain involved. In addition to pain, fibromyalgia can cause horrible headaches. Fatigue is another classic symptom of fibromyalgia. The body can feel worn out and tired. Again, it seems like there is a valid connection to improper sleep. Besides these symptoms, there are many cases where people develop irritable bowel syndrome and joint problems. While treating these symptoms can drastically reduce them, there are factors that can increase the symptoms. Illness and physical injury have been known to increase fibromyalgia symptoms. My next newsletter will cover some of the causes of fibromyalgia. If you want to get the facts about fibromyalgia and learn more now, you can download my recommended e-book, The Natural Cure To Fibromyalgia. You can find the website address at the bottom of the page. Until next time. Hello again [your customer's name] It is [your name] here. I hope you are finding the content of my regular newsletters interesting and useful. In this newsletter I am going to cover the different causes of fibromyalgia. While a specific cause for fibromyalgia has not been pinpointed, researchers have a number of theories that seem to fit. The reality could be that there are causes of fibromyalgia, and not just one! Hypothyroidism, which is a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone can throw the body into a state of imbalance. While the symptoms of hypothyroidism and fibromyalgia are similar, there are some slight differences. People with hypothyroidism sometimes demonstrate hair loss, decreased sex drive, and skin dryness. It is possible that these conditions are somewhat related even though they are slightly different. Another possible trigger for fibromyalgia can be emotional stress. Stress can make all the symptoms associated with fibromyalgia much worse than they should be. Fibromyalgia can manifest in two distinct ways. The first is through a gradual onset. The second is through a sudden onset, usually due to trauma or a serious illness. One of the possible causes of fibromyalgia includes some type of unidentified infection. It is possible that some kind of viral or bacterial infection not yet discovered causes the syndrome. In the downloadable e-book I recommend, there is specific information that discusses the above possible causes of fibromyalgia and also outlines other possible causes, explaining the theories behind them. I hope this information has been useful to you…and I will be in touch soon with the next installment, which covers risk factors for fibromyalgia. Bye for now. [your name] http://xxxxxxx.fibromyl01.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTORESPONDER 5 *************** Subject: [your customer's name]What are the risk factors for fibromyalgia? Hello again [your customer's name] I hope you are well and ready for the next fibromyalgia newsletter, which is covering some of the risk factors for fibromyalgia. There are a variety of risk factors for people to develop fibromyalgia. Women, as mentioned in an earlier email are nine times as likely to develop the syndrome then are men. Statistically, there are about nine million people in the United States of America that have fibromyalgia. Another risk factor is sleep disorders. Data has shown a close link between sleep disorders and fibromyalgia. The exact relationship is still a mystery but research strongly suggests a link. A person’s age is also a risk factor. The majority of cases peak in intensity between the age of twenty and fifty. As a person gets older the symptoms usually worsen if not treated. There also appears to be a genetic link to fibromyalgia. If your parents have fibromyalgia there is a greater risk that you will develop it too. This does not mean that you will definitely inherit the condition, but you should watch out for any signs or symptoms. In the next newsletter I will be talking about some of the medications that can be used to treat fibromyalgia. Until next time. [your name] http://xxxxxxx.fibromyl01.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTORESPONDER 6 *************** Subject: [your customer's name]- What are some of the medical treatments for fibromyalgia? [optional date token] Dear [your customer's name] In today’s newsletter we are going to cover the current medical treatments for fibromyalgia. In the last newsletter we discussed some of the risk factors for fibromyalgia. If you have been diagnosed with the condition it is time to explore some of the treatment options currently available. Medications will not eliminate all symptoms of fibromyalgia. Used properly, they will reduce symptoms and help people to live more comfortably. These medications are equivalent to taking an aspirin for a chronic headache. It may reduce the symptoms but the underlying cause will still be present. Prozac is one medication that can help treat the painful effects of fibromyalgia. It works by moderating serotonin, a neurotransmitter, in the body. Since many people with fibromyalgia feel like they have no energy, Prozac can give an energy boost. Cyclobenzaprine is a type of muscle relaxer. Since fibromyalgia affects muscle fibers it makes sense that this class of medication is used to combat the symptoms. Cycloflex and Flexeril are two types of medications containing cyclobenzaprine. They are responsible for blocking painful messages from reaching the brain. However, these drugs are not without their own risks. Side effects can include allergies, confusion, depression, vision problems, and seizures. Duloxetine, just like other fibromyalgia medications, works on blocking serotonin. The side effects are not that severe, however, during the initial phase of treatment there have been instances of suicide, prompting the FDA to put an official warning on the drug. The Natural Cure To Fibromyalgia ebook goes into greater detail about the medication that is available of Fibromyalgia sufferers, as well as exploring alternative options. Thanks for reading, and I will be back with another installment soon - this time natural treatments. Kind regards. [your name] http://xxxxxxx.fibromyl01.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTORESPONDER 7 *************** Subject: [your customer's name],What are some of the natural treatments for fibromyalgia? Hello again [your customer's name] In the last newsletter we covered some of the medical treatments for fibromyalgia. In this edition we are going to talk about the natural treatments for fibromyalgia. Did you know that: - Alternative therapies are gaining recognition in the treatment of fibromyalgia. - Homeopathic techniques can be just as effective or more so than medical treatments - Natural treatments are less expensive than medical treatments Ever since the herbal remedies have become popular in America there has been research into using herbs and other natural remedies in treating a host of medical problems. Many people have a hard time physically taking medications. Herbal remedies are usually their best bet. Here is a list of a few natural treatments that have been shown to help a variety of fibromyalgia sufferers. The first treatment, and it should be of no surprise, is proper exercise. Since fibromyalgia causes pain in muscle fibers, exercising helps to counter some of that pain. Exercise for people with fibromyalgia can also help them sleep better. If you remember from earlier newsletters, one of the most agreed upon theories of the origin of fibromyalgia is that it comes from a sleep disorder. Before you start an exercise program make sure to consult your doctor to see where you should set your limits. Overdoing it can be as a bad thing as not doing any exercise at all. If your fibromyalgia symptoms are severe, exercise will have to be approached with care to avoid causing further pain. Altering your diet and nutrition is also a good way to treat fibromyalgia. Each person is different so you will have to find a nutritional balance that works for you. It is recommended that fibromyalgia sufferers drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. This can help your body detoxify. Here are a list of foods you should probably avoid: - products with caffeine - sugary foods - alcohol - fried and processed foods - dairy (as little as possible) - fatty foods There are also some herbs, vitamins, and supplements that can help reduce symptoms of fibromyalgia. For example, you should probably include ginger in your diet because it is a natural anti-inflammatory. In addition, you should consider foods and supplements that include malic acid and various amino acids. If you wish to find out more information about these herbal and man-made treatments for fibromyalgia you can find detailed information in this comprehensive e-book, The Natural Cure for Fibromyalgia. You can download your copy here: http://xxxxxxx.fibromyl01.hop.clickbank.net I hope you found this information useful. In the next newsletter we will be covering some of the ways of potentially pampering your fibromyalgia away! Bye for now. [your name] http://xxxxxxx.fibromyl01.hop.clickbank.net ------------------------------------------------------------------- AUTORESPONDER 8 *************** Subject: [your customer's name] – don’t forget to pamper yourself [optional date token] Hello [your customer's name] As you already know, I like to keep up to date with the latest fibromyalgia information and resources available. This newsletter covers some of the ways you can pamper away the symptoms of fibromyalgia that you might not know about. In the last newsletter we discussed the importance of exercise. While it is definitely one of the best things you can do for your body, it is also equally important for people with fibromyalgia to rest up and relax. Sometimes it just feels great to pamper yourself a bit. If you have fibromyalgia, it is a good idea to periodically get massage therapy. If you can afford it all the time that is great! If not, try to get a good massage every once in a while. Since fibromyalgia causes pain in muscle fibers, a relaxing massage may be just what your body needs. Of course, if you can afford it and you have the time, you could check out a day spa. Day spas have a variety of therapies that can relax your body in a way you probably could never have imagined. There are hot stone therapies, mud baths, saunas, steam treatments, and more! Furthermore, you should always have a good heating pad handy. Heat helps to relieve pain. If you can’t afford to head to a day spa, consider a quiet night at home with a good movie or a book, while using a heating pad. It may not be as glamorous as a day spa, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be just as effective at relieving pain and relaxing you. A recent study has shown that heat “deactivates” pain in a similar way to painkillers, to provide relief for up to an hour. Led by Brian King from University College London, he recently announced at a Physiological Society conference in London that “the heat doesn't just provide comfort and have a placebo effect, it actually deactivates the pain at a molecular level in much the same way as pharmaceutical painkillers work”. Using heat pads of more than 40 degrees C to the areas of pain can trigger your body’s heat receptors to switch on, which in turn block the pain receptors from sending their warning signals to the brain. Be sure to take care of yourself. Life can be very stressful, which is especially bad for people with fibromyalgia. Take some time for yourself, to relax and recharge. It could mean the difference between pain and feeling great! In the “The Natural Cure for Fibromyalgia” there is more information on ways you can make your body feel better and keep the pain at bay! Also, this indepth e-book covers many more strategies for helping your body feel better than it has in years.
